Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Conduct process validation and qualification activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during new product introduction.
• Define and procure necessary tooling and equipment for NPI.
• Optimize manufacturing processes for cost, quality, and efficiency.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, Eagle) for PCB design and layout.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including PCBA assembly, test, and system integration.
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and engineering change management.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma tools and their application in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and lead small project teams.
• Understanding of supply chain dynamics and their impact on NPI processes.
• Experience with simulation software for manufacturing processes.
