Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials management strategies.
• Oversee inventory control and optimization.
• Manage supplier relationships and procurement processes.
• Lead and develop the materials team.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement in materials flow and logistics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field (e.g., Engineering, Materials Science).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, production planning, or inventory control within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for demand planning, inventory optimization, and production scheduling.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and their application to materials flow and inventory reduction.
• Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and demand planning.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) and practical application in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize supply chain technologies (e.g., WMS, forecasting software).
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance monitoring and continuous improvement.
