Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Montague that are seeking Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery and work areas.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions.
• Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required paperwork.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience operating and setting up various printing presses (e.g., flexographic, offset, digital).
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting job orders, blueprints, and quality specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality standards and perform in-process quality checks.
• Experience with material handling, including loading and unloading rolls or sheets.
• Commitment to following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with color matching and quality control instruments
• Formal training or certification in printing technology or a related field
• Basic mechanical or electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate a forklift or other material handling equipment
