Salary Range: $135,000 - $186,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled Plant Managers. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations, including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Manage and mentor a team of supervisors and production personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Develop and manage the plant budget, controlling expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and supply chain, to meet customer demands and company objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean manufacturing principles and other best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing operations
• Proven track record of improving production efficiency and reducing costs
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a diverse team of employees
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
• Master's degree in a related field (e.g., MBA, Engineering Management)
