Salary Range: $79,000 - $119,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking Inventory Control Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Oversee the cycle counting program and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock levels.
• Manage the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of materials to maintain an organized and efficient flow.
• Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams to align inventory with operational needs.
• Implement and maintain inventory management software and systems.
• Lead and develop a team of inventory control specialists and associates.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for inventory management and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize inventory control processes and procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• APICS certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP).
• Proficiency in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with RFID or other automated inventory tracking technologies.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP).
