Salary Range: $67,000 - $106,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Holland that are seeking skilled IT Systems Administrators. Key Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains server infrastructure (Windows/Linux) and virtual environments (VMware).
• Administers and supports network devices, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
• Implements and monitors data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Ensures the security of IT systems, including endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability assessments.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues specific to manufacturing operations.
• Manages user accounts, permissions, and access controls across various systems.
• Documents system configurations, network diagrams, and IT procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with network administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA).
• Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint protection, firewalls, and data backup/recovery solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) in a production setting.
• Scripting proficiency (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation of manufacturing-specific tasks.
