Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Lean Manufacturing Engineers. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify waste and bottlenecks.
- Design and implement visual management systems and 5S programs.
- Develop and optimize production layouts and material flow.
- Conduct time studies and value stream mapping to identify improvement opportunities.
- Train and mentor production teams on Lean principles and tools.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Lean methodologies in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate continuous improvement events (Kaizen, VSM, 5S).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Black Belt or Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and train others in Lean principles
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, robotics)
