Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily machining operations and workflow.
- Mentor and train junior machinists on complex procedures and safety.
- Program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery for precision parts.
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Manage material inventory and ensure timely procurement for projects.
Recommended Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in setting up, operating, and programming CNC mills and lathes.
- Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
- Strong understanding of various metals, cutting tools, and machining processes.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot machining issues and perform quality control inspections.
- Experience in leading or mentoring junior machinists.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming and simulation
- Certification or advanced training in CNC machining or a related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues
- Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
