Lean Manufacturing Engineer | Battle Creek, MI
Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Battle Creek seeking Lean Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
- Conduct value stream mapping and process analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
- Design and implement visual management systems to enhance workplace organization and communication.
- Train and mentor production teams on Lean tools and principles.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive Lean transformation across the organization.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED).
- Proven ability to analyze manufacturing processes, identify waste, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., A3, Root Cause Analysis).
- Experience with production systems, manufacturing equipment, and facility layouts.
