HR Generalist | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $54,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Allegan seeking experienced HR Generalists. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401k, and leave policies.
• Manage full-cycle recruitment for various manufacturing roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Conduct employee relations investigations and provide guidance on performance management.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, including OSHA and EEO regulations.
• Develop and deliver HR training programs on topics such as harassment prevention and safety.
• Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports on key HR metrics.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
• Experience with HRIS systems and payroll processing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
