HR Generalist | Charlotte, MI

Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking HR Generalists. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for hourly and salaried positions, from job posting to new hire orientation.
  • Conduct employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Process payroll and maintain accurate HR records, including employee data, benefits, and timekeeping.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development plans.
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA).
  • Proven experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.

Bonus Qualifications

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze HR metrics and provide data-driven insights
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages prevalent in the manufacturing workforce
