Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for manufacturing software and hardware.
• Resolve IT issues related to production machinery and operational technology.
• Maintain and configure network connectivity for factory floor systems.
• Document solutions and create knowledge base articles for common manufacturing IT problems.
• Escalate complex technical issues affecting production to appropriate senior staff.
• Perform preventative maintenance and upgrades on shop floor IT equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware (e.g., PCs, printers, manufacturing equipment interfaces) and software (e.g., Windows OS, MS Office, specialized manufacturing applications).
• Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi) and Active Directory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective user support and problem resolution.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA systems or manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP)
• Certifications in ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
• Experience supporting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) in a manufacturing context
