HR Generalist | Wyoming, MI

Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Wyoming region seeking HR Generalists. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company regulations.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for various manufacturing roles, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Process payroll and benefits administration, addressing employee inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Conduct employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Support performance management processes, including annual reviews and goal setting.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of HR training programs.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with HRIS implementation or optimization
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
  • Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma
  • Familiarity with union environments and collective bargaining agreements
