Salary Range: $86,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in Traverse City seeking experienced Facilities Managers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Manage facilities-related vendor relationships and service contracts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards for the facility.
• Plan and execute facility expansion, renovation, and relocation projects.
• Manage the facilities budget, including operating expenses and capital expenditures.
• Implement energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable facility practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing facility budgets, preventative maintenance programs, and capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and relevant safety regulations (OSHA).
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Bonus Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour certification
• Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
