Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Hart seeking Fabrication Leads who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train fabrication team members on best practices and safety protocols.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of fabrication projects to meet production deadlines.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of fabricated components through inspection and testing.
• Manage material inventory and order supplies to support ongoing fabrication operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement preventative maintenance for machinery.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in metal fabrication, including welding, forming, and machining.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of skilled fabricators.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD software for precise fabrication.
• Expertise in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, STICK) and the ability to perform high-quality welds on diverse materials.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality control.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and best practices within a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with robotic welding or automated fabrication equipment.
• CAD/CAM software proficiency (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated application of lean manufacturing principles.
• Forklift and overhead crane certification.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
