Facilities Manager | Grand Haven, MI

Salary Range: $90,000 - $137,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Grand Haven seeking Facilities Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Implement and maintain safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.).
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Plan and execute facility expansion, renovation, and improvement projects.
• Ensure the efficient operation of utilities, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians and facilities staff.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and preventative maintenance programs.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and environmental compliance within a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour certification
• Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
