Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Document inspection results accurately in quality management systems.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials or products.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections according to specifications.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection equipment and ensure calibration validity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Quality Assurance, Engineering Technology) or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with various metrology tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparators).
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and application.
• Ability to perform detailed visual inspections and identify defects.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CMM or other automated inspection equipment.
• ASQ certifications (e.g., CMI, CQIA).
• Ability to interpret and apply GD&T principles.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
