Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues.
• Develop and execute process validation protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) for new equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with R&D and Production teams to ensure manufacturability of new product designs.
• Specify, procure, and qualify new manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flowcharts.
• Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for continuous improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing and analyzing manufacturing processes.
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes, such as machining, assembly, welding, or additive manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues, improving efficiency and reducing downtime.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other CAD software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their application in manufacturing.
• Project management experience, including the use of tools like Microsoft Project or Jira.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) for automation or data analysis.
