Maintenance Technician | East Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across East Lansing seeking Maintenance Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure operational safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical systems (PLC, VFD, motor control)
• Strong mechanical aptitude (hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission)
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
