Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Jenison that are seeking Applications Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications for manufacturing equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex software issues in production environments.
• Implement and optimize control algorithms for industrial automation systems.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on application usage.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for software applications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering or technical sales support, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Proven ability to interpret technical specifications, CAD drawings, and customer requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, MATLAB) for automation
• Experience with data acquisition and analysis tools
