Salary Range: $86,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Portage that are seeking Advanced Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced quality control plans for new product introductions.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for complex quality issues.
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering to optimize product and process designs for quality and reliability.
• Conduct supplier quality audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply base.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and technicians on advanced quality methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the application of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification.
• Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), measurement system analysis (MSA), and other quality methodologies.
• Proven experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software packages (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485 or AS9100 quality management systems.
