Salary Range: $45,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operates, monitors, and adjusts Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment to meet production specifications.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine appropriate machining processes.
• Sets up and calibrates EDM machines, including tooling, electrodes, and workholding devices.
• Performs in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure part accuracy and adherence to tolerances.
• Troubleshoots and resolves minor machine malfunctions or programming errors to minimize downtime.
• Maintains accurate production records, including machine settings, cycle times, and material usage.
• Adheres to all safety protocols and procedures related to EDM operation and general manufacturing practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience operating EDM machinery in a manufacturing environment
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, CMM)
• Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
