Salary Range: $46,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up EDM machines according to blueprints and specifications.
• Monitor EDM processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and product quality.
• Document operational parameters and production data.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years experience in EDM operation or related machining field
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CNC machining or similar automated manufacturing equipment.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.
• Proficiency in using an ERP system for production tracking.
