Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) equipment.
• Set up EDM machines according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Monitor EDM processes, adjusting parameters as needed to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on EDM machinery.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications using various measuring tools.
• Document production activities, including machine settings, material usage, and quality control data.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize EDM processes and resolve technical issues.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Basic understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Experience with EDM machines (e.g., wire EDM, sinker EDM) in a manufacturing setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with EDM programming software (e.g., ESPRIT, CAMWorks)
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance on EDM equipment
• Familiarity with quality control processes and measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
