Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Holt region seeking Cost Accountants. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates—not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard product costs.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and provide detailed explanations.
• Prepare cost of goods sold and inventory valuation reports.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and track their implementation.
• Perform margin analysis and profitability reporting by product line.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to ensure accurate bill of materials and routings.
• Assist in the month-end close process related to inventory and cost of sales.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization
• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Proven ability to develop and maintain complex financial models
