Salary Range: $58,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather necessary data for accurate estimations.
• Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and cost-saving opportunities within estimates.
• Present estimates and proposals to management and clients.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and labor costs.
• Experience with ERP systems and specialized estimating software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
