Salary Range: $61,000 - $93,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.
• Deliver EHS training programs to employees on topics such as hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain accurate EHS records, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.
• Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects and processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.
• 3+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing corrective actions.
• Ability to develop and deliver EHS training programs to a diverse workforce.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems
• Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM
• Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate EHS training programs
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles for process improvement in EHS
• Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera)
