Salary Range: $83,000 - $128,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Plainwell that are seeking EHS Managers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular EHS audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and develop preventative measures to minimize future occurrences.
• Manage and oversee all EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Develop and manage the facility's emergency response plans and procedures, including regular drills and exercises.
• Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance through the implementation of best practices and new technologies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in EHS management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and systems.
• Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification
• Experience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 implementation and maintenance
• Proficiency in EHS management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Experience conducting industrial hygiene assessments
