Salary Range: $55,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug CMM programs for complex manufactured parts.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing teams to ensure program accuracy and efficiency.
• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications to create precise measurement routines.
• Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections using CMM.
• Maintain and troubleshoot CMM equipment and software.
• Document CMM programs, inspection results, and calibration records.
• Optimize CMM programming processes for increased throughput and reduced inspection time.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficient in PC-DMIS software for CMM programming.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with various CMM hardware and probing systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop efficient and robust measurement routines.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD software for model-based definition (MBD) or Product and Manufacturing Information (PMI) data.
• Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis for quality improvement.
• Knowledge of various GD&T software applications or validation tools.
• Ability to perform basic CMM maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with scripting or automation for CMM programming tasks.
