Salary Range: $46,000 - $71,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on a wide range of measurement and test equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning calibration equipment and instrumentation.
- Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates.
- Adhere to established calibration procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Develop and optimize calibration methods and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment issues and support new product development.
- Maintain calibration standards and ensure their traceability to national or international standards.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering Technology, Metrology) or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of experience performing calibrations of various measurement equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540).
- Experience with calibration software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical and mechanical issues with test equipment.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with metrology software (e.g., GagePack, IndySoft).
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., ASQ CCT, NCSL International).
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
- Ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments on test equipment.
