Salary Range: $61,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking Buyers. These companies are committed to building strong teams and are looking for professionals who can lead initiatives effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Drive cost reductions through strategic sourcing and negotiation.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, including issue resolution.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to identify new opportunities.
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to define material specifications and requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or supply chain role within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for procurement functions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on material requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• APICS CSCP or CPIM certification
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices
• Project management experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints
