Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine calibration and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instrumentation and control systems.
  • Document calibration results, maintenance activities, and equipment history accurately.
  • Adhere to established calibration procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Utilize calibration software and specialized tools to perform precise adjustments and measurements.
  • Maintain calibration standards and test equipment in proper working order.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Electronics, Metrology, Electromechanical Technology).
  • 2+ years of experience in calibration, test, or measurement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using and calibrating a variety of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes).
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and calibration procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with automated calibration systems.
  • ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) certification.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
