Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Bookkeeper / Office Managers. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely compensation and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, for management review.
  • Oversee general office administration, including supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor management.
  • Assist with human resources tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files.
  • Coordinate facility maintenance and repairs, ensuring a safe and functional work environment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in bookkeeping/office management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel for financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for internal and external interactions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management
  • Experience with payroll processing
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
