Salary Range: $81,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy automated systems for manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation equipment and programs.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations for automated processes.
• Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on automation systems.
• Evaluate and recommend new automation technologies and software solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot industrial automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and their optimization through automation.
• Experience with robotics (e.g., Fanuc, KUKA, ABB) and vision systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, or Java for automation scripting and data analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with ISA-88 batch control standards.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automation projects.
• Experience with robotic simulation software (e.g., RoboDK, Process Simulate).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
