Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts.
• Perform in-process inspections using various metrology tools to ensure quality.
• Read and interpret blueprints, G-code, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot machine alarms, making minor adjustments and repairs as needed.
• Monitor machine operation, making offsets and adjustments to maintain part specifications.
• Load and unload bar stock, ensuring proper material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience operating CNC Swiss-style lathes
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and G-code
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• Experience with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators)
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficient in Mastercam or other CAM software for generating tool paths
• Experience with post-processing G-code for specific machine controllers
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles
• CMM operation experience for in-process inspection
