Salary Range: $55,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss-type lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code.
• Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine alarms and minor mechanical issues.
• Load raw materials and unload finished parts efficiently.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to perform tool changes, offsets, and make minor program adjustments.
• Experience with in-process inspection using various metrology tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators).
• Strong understanding of common cutting tools, materials, and their applications in Swiss machining.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common machining issues independently.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit) for program modification and optimization.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Experience with in-process gauging and quality control tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
