Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and jigs.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and modification of production tooling to ensure operational readiness.
- Diagnose and resolve complex tooling issues impacting production efficiency and product quality.
- Implement tooling solutions to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce waste, and improve cycle times.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure tooling meets product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Support new product introductions by developing and validating required tooling.
- Establish and maintain tooling specifications, standards, and documentation for all tooling assets.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3-5 years of experience in tooling design, fabrication, or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD) for tooling design and analysis.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, machining, or die casting.
- Demonstrated ability to apply GD&T principles and perform root cause analysis for tooling issues.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, or integrated manufacturing systems.
- Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., FEA, mold flow analysis).
- Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) for tooling or prototyping.
