Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Drive complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions for critical quality issues using advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC).
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control plans, FMEAs, and statistical process controls (SPC) to ensure product and process capability.
• Utilize statistical methods and data analysis to identify trends, predict quality risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and support internal and external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, supply chain) to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers and manufacturing personnel on quality principles and tools.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, 8D).
• Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proven ability to lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for Design of Experiments (DOE) and predictive analytics
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 or IATF 16949
• Demonstrated experience with SAP QM or other integrated ERP Quality Management systems
• Experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping)
