Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts for NPI projects.
• Collaborate with R&D and Design teams to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT).
• Manage pilot production runs, identify issues, and implement corrective actions to achieve target yields and quality.
• Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and BOMs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives during the NPI phase to enhance product quality, cost, and efficiency.
• Provide technical support and training to production teams on new product assembly and test procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical).
• Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Proficiency in developing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and quality systems (e.g., FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis).
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies (e.g., additive manufacturing, robotics, advanced automation).
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or programming for data analysis (e.g., Python, R).
