Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications.
• Inspect and test welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to standards, identifying and reporting any defects.
• Set up and operate welding machines, including adjusting parameters such as amperage, voltage, and gas flow.
• Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and beveling as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures to accurately complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting on welding equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
• Follow all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Document production data, including quantities welded, materials used, and any issues encountered.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
• Proven experience as a welder or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and understanding of different metal types.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
