Salary Range: $41,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including arc welding, MIG, TIG, and spot welding machines.
  • Inspect and test welds for defects, ensuring adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Safely handle materials and components, following all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding issues to ensure product integrity and production efficiency.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal parts and structures using various welding techniques.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Certified welding credentials (e.g., AWS D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6).
  • Proficiency in various welding processes (e.g., GMAW, GTAW, FCAW, SMAW).
  • Ability to read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with welding inspection techniques and quality control procedures.
  • Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties relevant to welding.
  • Familiarity with welding equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with automated welding systems (e.g., robotic welding, orbital welding)
  • - Proficiency in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as visual inspection, penetrant testing, or ultrasonic testing
