Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Oversee inbound and outbound transportation, including carrier selection, negotiation, and route optimization.
• Direct warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Collaborate with suppliers and 3PL providers to maintain strong service levels and timely deliveries.
• Utilize logistics software (WMS, TMS) to track, manage, and optimize supply chain activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in managing and developing logistics teams and operations.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs, and trade compliance.
• Proven track record in optimizing logistics processes, reducing costs, and improving on-time delivery performance.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with major ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Experience with international logistics, customs regulations, and import/export compliance.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Advanced data analysis skills using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
