Salary Range: $45,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust manufacturing presses, including die changes and tooling adjustments, according to production specifications.
• Operate various types of presses (e.g., stamping, forming, hydraulic) to produce parts, monitoring machine performance and output.
• Perform in-process quality checks on manufactured parts using measuring tools to ensure adherence to blueprints and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules to determine job requirements and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor press malfunctions, making necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preventative checks on press machinery to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, forming, injection molding).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machinery and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gages).
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Basic electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Forklift operation certification
• Experience with preventative maintenance scheduling or execution
