Salary Range: $88,000 - $134,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop floor operations, ensuring efficient production flow and adherence to schedules.
• Manage and develop a team of skilled manufacturing personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, coordinating with procurement and logistics.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained and functioning, scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality control departments to resolve production issues and implement solutions.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on shop performance to upper management.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management roles.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Solid knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with inventory management and supply chain optimization.
