Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles within the manufacturing facility.
  • Administer employee relations, including grievance resolution, disciplinary actions, and conflict management for a diverse workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, company policies, and manufacturing-specific safety regulations.
  • Coordinate and facilitate essential training programs, focusing on safety, compliance, and technical skill development for plant personnel.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, and corrective action plans for all employees.
  • Administer workers' compensation claims, assist with incident investigations, and actively support plant safety initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding for new hires, emphasizing safety protocols, company policies, and role-specific training.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, specifically in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including OSHA regulations.
  • Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and core HR functions (recruitment, benefits, performance management).
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with a diverse workforce, including hourly employees.
  • Experience supporting safety initiatives and workers' compensation processes.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience with HRIS/timekeeping systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, UKG, ADP)
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety program administration
