Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, and robotics for manufacturing processes.
• Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and SCADA systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues with existing automation equipment and control systems.
• Optimize current automated processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new automation technologies into production lines.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, control narratives, and operational procedures.
• Conduct testing and commissioning of new automation systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET) and data acquisition.
• Experience in the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of robotic systems and machine vision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving complex automation issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety standards, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for quality inspection or guidance.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI) for OEE tracking and process optimization.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts, IIoT platforms, and cloud integration for industrial data.
• Experience integrating automation systems with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
