Salary Range: $86,000 - $127,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions.
• Facilitate Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop comprehensive Control Plans.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using methodologies like 8D.
• Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) strategies.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance product and process quality.
• Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and drive proactive quality improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification.
• Expert proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D).
• Proven ability to lead complex root cause analysis and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• Experience with advanced statistical software (e.g., R, Python) for complex data analysis
• Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and experience conducting external audits
• Demonstrated experience leading quality activities during New Product Introduction (NPI) and APQP processes
• Proficiency in complex metrology, including CMM programming and advanced Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
