Salary Range: $83,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective/preventative actions using advanced problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Shainin, Six Sigma).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes through the application of statistical process control (SPC), Lean principles, and advanced quality tools to reduce variation and defects.
- Develop, implement, and maintain advanced quality planning activities (APQP) including FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions for new product introductions and process changes.
- Conduct statistical analysis of quality data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and drive data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
- Manage and improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) by conducting internal audits, facilitating external audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF).
- Design and implement robust measurement systems, performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to ensure data integrity and reliability for critical process parameters.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define critical quality requirements and integrate quality-by-design principles into product and process development.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in core quality tools such as APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and 8D problem-solving.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective/preventive actions.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis for process control and continuous improvement.
Bonus Qualifications
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) certification
- Certified Lead Auditor (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485)
- Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., JMP, R, Python)
- ASQ Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
