Salary Range: $47,000 - $67,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies, reporting any issues immediately.
• Organize and stock received materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate product selection and packaging.
• Generate shipping labels and documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
• Load and unload trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure timely material flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
• Ability to operate a forklift or other material handling equipment (certification preferred).
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Bonus Qualifications

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
• Experience with inventory management software beyond basic scanning
• Forklift certification (if not already a requirement)
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules
