Salary Range: $55,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Train, mentor, and supervise shipping and receiving personnel, fostering a productive team environment.
• Verify and reconcile incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, identifying discrepancies.
• Coordinate outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and carrier selection.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent data entry and cycle counting processes.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices within the shipping and receiving department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and procurement departments to ensure smooth material flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and best practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience, including training and directing team members.
• Proficiency in using shipping software, barcode scanners, and other warehouse equipment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) beyond basic data entry.
• - Forklift certification or experience operating other specialized material handling equipment.
• - Basic understanding of inventory control principles and cycle counting.
• - Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts relevant to material flow.
• - Bilingual in Spanish (or other relevant language).
